01 — Concept
A room composed for stillness
French Style Bedroom is conceived as a private retreat — classical proportion held in a warm neutral band. Every surface is calibrated for the slow end of the day, not for display.

A private bedroom composed around stillness, texture, and warm architectural light.

Project Manifesto
A French-influenced bedroom interior shaped through soft proportion, layered warm-neutral materials, and low-key indirect light — composed for the slow end of the day.
Architecture
The room is held by soft proportion. Thresholds are recessed, ceilings sit lower than the public floors, joinery aligns with the bed axis — the architecture exists to compose calm, not to perform.
Materials
Honed travertine, smoked oak, warm linen, brushed bronze. Surfaces are layered for touch, not contrast — every material finishes matt, every edge resolves softly.
Lighting
Light enters indirectly. Linen filters daylight; concealed coves wash 2700K across stone after dusk. No overhead general lighting in the sleeping volume.
Tone
Intimate, restrained, quiet. A room composed for the end of the day.

Design Narrative
Four passages — concept, atmosphere, circulation, sensory language. The way every NOX FORM project is composed.
01 — Concept
French Style Bedroom is conceived as a private retreat — classical proportion held in a warm neutral band. Every surface is calibrated for the slow end of the day, not for display.
02 — Atmosphere
The palette holds inside stone, oak, taupe, and bronze — no accent colours, no contrast moments. Mood is built through material depth and filtered light alone.
03 — Materials
Materials are layered for touch rather than image. Wool underfoot, linen at the windows, oak at the headboard, bronze along the eyeline — each drawn from the room itself.
04 — Sensory language
Daylight is filtered through linen sheers; nighttime is carried by concealed coves at 2700K. Ceilings sit low above the bed and lift gently towards the dressing volume.
Cinematic Gallery
Each frame is a still from the same architectural film — composed for stillness, not for the camera.

Detail Frames
Architecture lives in millimetres. These are the moments where the material reads — and where the building begins to feel inhabited.

Bronze · Edge
A single patinated bronze line resolves the threshold.

Linen · Light
Belgian linen filters daylight to a slow, even wash.

Oak · Joinery
Wire-brushed smoked oak — touched daily, never decorated.
Materiality
AI-generated material swatches composed for this project's palette — finish, texture, and pairing drawn from the visualization, not the global stock library.

Material
Warm honed travertine with soft vein movement — matt face, no polish, used for floor and dressing portal planes.

Material
Wire-brushed smoked oak with open grain — headboard joinery and architectural wall lining in the visualization.

Material
Belgian linen in oatmeal wash — sheer at the windows, layered on the bed, filtered daylight through the weave.

Material
Brushed bronze with soft patina along thresholds, hardware, and the room's horizontal eyeline.

Material
Dense wool pile in warm taupe — chaise corner upholstery with low evening light across the nap.

Material
Fine lime plaster in warm greige — ceiling and wall fields that carry cove light without reflection.
Floorplan
A minimal architectural reading of French Style Bedroom — circulation, rooms, and thresholds resolved as a single quiet diagram.
